B.O.T.B 2015

Bilder från The Beadsmith´s tävlingssida . Mina tidigare års bidrag. Från den 1 april-8 juni är det dags att försvara de svenska färgerna igen. Det är runt 250 stycken från 39 olika länder som tävlar och har blivit uttagen av The Beadsmith i USA. Har tyvärr ingen idé till årets bidrag, borde börja att tänka. Förra året låg jag efter en månad, höll på med annat som skulle vara klart. Inte så bra att upprepa det misstaget men det är svårt pga att alla är så otroligt duktiga så jag får prestationsångest, tror jag:)

The techniques I have used:  bead weaving, backstitch, peyote, bezel and twisted bezel, herringbone tubular, Viking knitting.<br />

 Miyuki:   Seeds 15/0   S/L Dark Gold, Bronze and Dark Bronze, Copper and Black.<br />
                 Seeds and Delica 11/0 S/L Brown, S/L Dark Topaz, Duracoat Gold,  redbrown (chalk)<br />
                 Cubes 3 mm   Met.  Brown Iris,   Drops 3,4 mm<br />
Preciosa:  Charlottes   15/0 Bronze and Dark Bronze, 13/0 Terra Met. Gold<br />
                   Seeds 11/0   S/L Topaz, Dark Topaz, Copper<br />
Czech:      Daggers  5x16 mm Dark Bronze, Tiles 6 mm Bronze and D. Bronze, Fire Polished   4mm Dark<br />

Size from clasp to bottom   42 cm, widest part 17 cm. I have not count the hours.</p>

 I love bead embroidery, bead weaving and wire work and inspires of bold  focals, vibrant colors, shapes, textures, plants, nature and movements. I have learned   the basics  in Australia where I lived for some years,  from designers and artists in various fields of technology but also spent countless of hours by teaching myself. That was five years ago and now I´m hooked. I enjoy a  challenge and likes participating  in competitions  both in Sweden, and internationally.”

I love bead embroidery, bead weaving and wire work and inspires of bold focals, vibrant color combos, structures and architectural patterns. Often a beautiful cabochon or a lovely lampwork bead can influence my design. I have learned the basics in West Australia where I lived for some years, from designers and artists in various fields of technology but also spent countless of hours by teaching myself.
